Apple to switch to Intel processors?
It has been reported by BBC News that Apple plans to announce a transition to Intel chips, phasing out the use of IBM's PowerPC architecture. It’s expected to be announced at Apple Worldwide Developer Conference today. Although it’s certainly not a done deal, and many are skeptical of whether it will actually happen as there have been so many false alarms over the years. We will have to wait and see.
