Apple Shuffles its Nano
Apple has just announced a 1GB version of its iPod Nano. Unusually, capacity has gone down not up, and it joins its bigger 2GB and 4GB cousins.
It costs £109, and is otherwise identical to the larger capacity versions.
The company has also dropped the price of the Shuffle, and the 512MB now costs £49 and the 1GB £69.
When you look at the tiny capacity of a 1GB media player, you have to ask, apart from its better looks, why would anyone pay an extra £40 for the new Nano when they can get as many songs on a similar sized Shuffle?
