We’ve just got hold of a review sample of the new HWU8DD Hi-Gain USB Wireless-G Adapter from Hawking Technologies – the company that brought you the HBB1 Broadband Booster.
It’s the size of a small shed and is designed to sit on the roof of your house.
Okay, that’s a lie. Although it looks like an industrial-sized satellite dish it’s actually only about 12cm tall.
Attaching to your desktop or notebook PC via a USB2 connection, it promises to improve wireless connection distances by up to 300%.
