EVGA brings out fastest Nvidia 7900GT on the market
Graphics card maker has come out with what it claims is the fastest Nvidia 7900GT currently available on the market.
Called the e-Geforce 7900GT Signature Series, it has a core clock speed of 600MHz and memory clock of 1,600MHz. This compares with the Nvidia 7900GT reference design speeds of a 450MHz core clock and an effective memory clock of 1,320MHz.
EVGA, whose other cards includes the Superclocked 7900 GTX, says its latest 7900GT reaches these speeds because of its cooling - the memory is covered by a copper fan. With 256MB memory, 24 pipelines and an integrated Nvidia TV encoder, the card costs $400. You can download a full PDF spec sheet here.
