HP works on foldable digital camera lenses
At the HP Labs event this week in Paris the company has been outlining coming trends it sees in printer ink and digital cameras.
For printing, it has been looking at better ink management and how to make printers more efficient. Ink is a thorny subject, with consumers often feeling they are being ripped off by its price, while manufacturers defend the high street charges siting research and development costs.
In the digital camera sector, as explained in the post below, HP wants to guide people away from looking at megapixels, despite still branding cameras that way itself. But it was also talking about advances such as foldable lenses, as people increasingly smaller cameras with better zooms.
You can hear greater depth and detail in our short podcast from the event.
